Archangels Shield, LLC is a licensed private investigations and security agency serving the Carolinas since 2017. Located in the Lake Norman area in the Charlotte region, it provides services in physical security consulting, workplace violence prevention and executive protection, as well as investigative services in the areas of motor vehicle crash reconstruction, due diligence, civil litigation support and employment background screenings.
Kevin R. Bray, CPP®, LPI - President
Mr. Bray is a board-certified security management professional, private investigator and executive protection specialist retired from state level law enforcement following a career spanning over 30 years. He gained investigative experience in fatal motor vehicle crash investigations and applicant background screenings, as well as internal and external personnel complaints. Additionally, he provided academy-level instruction to new recruits, field training and annual in-service training to veteran officers.
Post-retirement, Mr. Bray founded a private investigations company and provided armed and unarmed close protection services to a variety of clients to address domestic and workplace violence threats. He is a licensed Private Investigator in the State of North Carolina, with a Close Personal Protection endorsement, and is also licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an armed and unarmed Personal Protection Specialist. Mr. Bray holds the Certified Protection Professional (CPP®) designation from ASIS International, the global community of security professionals who establish the standards, guidelines and best practices for the industry.
Mr. Bray's company has expanded its offerings to include security consulting services with a specialty in workplace violence prevention, intervention and active assailant response, using the globally recognized A.L.I.V.E. Active Shooter training program.
